Hunter Schafer Says She Doesn't Lean Into the Fact She’s Transgender
Wednesday, 3 April 2024 Hunter Schafer wants people to stop harping on the fact she's transgender -- in fact, she doesn't even take on trans roles anymore ... even though she became famous through one. The "Euphoria" star tells GQ she's taking intentional steps to shift…
Hunter Schafer said she's turned down many trans roles and is saying she wants the public to stop focusing on her trans identity. In a new GQ cover story the 'Euphoria' star said, "I just want to be a girl and finally move on." She added that she's even hesitant to say the word "trans" in interviews.
We finally know when HBO's 'Euphoria' will head back into production. After a very long hiatus, filming on the drama's third season is slated to begin in January 2025 — just about three years after the premiere of season two. HBO says the whole principal cast is set to return, including stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer. An airdate hasn't been set, yet, but it's unlikely that 'Euphoria' will be ready to go before late next year, which would mean a gap of up to four years between seasons.

Russell Crowe is defending superhero movies in the wake of Dakota Johnson's 'Madame Web' comments. Crowe, who next stars in 'Kraven the Hunter,' gave a candid interview to GQ where at one point he was asked about Johnson saying that the recent box office disappointment of 'Madame Web' felt like it was "made by a committee" and pushed back on the notion that actors should have high personal artistic expectations for making films in the genre.
