Baldwin was present at the festival where he was the guest of honor as the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award. During the press conference Baldwin got a little critical about Americans and media at one point saying, "You know what's going on from the news, but information in America is driven by money. It's a business. That's why there's a void in information on the biggest issues in the world. Americans know little or nothing — on climate change, on Ukraine.
