SLB initially rejected Adhyayan Suman for Heeramandi

The makers of 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' recently unveiled character posters featuring Nawabs portrayed by Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman. Notably, this marks the first collaboration between father-son duo Shekhar and Adhyayan. Shekhar embodies the powerful and cultured Zulfiqar Ahmed, while Adhyayan portrays the wealthy and arrogant Zorawar Ali Khan. In an interview, Adhyayan disclosed his dual role in the series, including playing the younger version of his father's character, Zulfiqar. Expressing his lifelong aspiration to work with his father, the 'Raaz – The Mystery Continues' actor shared his excitement about sharing a scene with him.
