Indian cinema celebrated a milestone at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as Payal Kapadia's 'All We Imagine As Light' received the esteemed Grand Prix award. The festival's conclusion on May 25 marked a moment of pride for the team. Ranveer Singh conveyed his congratulations, sharing a cheerful photo on Instagram stories. Kapadia expressed gratitude during her acceptance speech, emphasizing the significance of representation in Indian cinema. She acknowledged the contributions of three women who made the film possible, urging for more opportunities for Indian films at Cannes. 'All We Imagine As Light', directed and written by Payal and produced by Thomas Hakim, Julien Graff, and Ranabir Das, stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam, and Hridhu Haroon. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh gears up for 'Singham Again', reprising his role as Simmba alongside a stellar cast, and leads in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3', slated for a 2025 release.
