Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra, reminisces about how her daughter initially hesitated before embracing the opportunity to star in the 2002 Tamil film 'Thamizhan' alongside Vijay. Despite Priyanka's initial reluctance towards acting, she eventually agreed to the role with her mother's encouragement. Madhu Chopra shared that although Priyanka was initially apprehensive, she grew to enjoy the filming experience, particularly appreciating the support from the team and Vijay's gentlemanly demeanor. Priyanka's dedication to learning dance routines and building her character during the shoot ultimately solidified her desire to pursue acting as a career. Following her debut in 'Thamizhan', Priyanka went on to make her Bollywood debut in 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy' in 2003. Currently, she is gearing up for her upcoming projects including 'The Bluff' directed by Frank E. Flowers, and 'Heads of State', an action-comedy featuring Idris Elba, John Cena, and Jack Quaid.
