Alia Bhatt's much-awaited film 'Jigra', where she takes on a fierce warrior role, has been rescheduled from its initial September 27, 2024 release. Directed by Vasan Bala of 'Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota' fame, the movie promises an intense cinematic experience. Dharma Productions confirmed the new release date, October 11, 2024, emphasizing the tagline, "A fierce journey to protect your own...your jigra!" Newcomer Vedang Raina, known for his debut in 'The Archies', stars alongside Alia Bhatt in a speculated role possibly as her on-screen brother. Bhatt not only plays the lead but also co-produces the film under her banner, marking her second venture into production after 'Darlings'. Apart from 'Jigra', Alia Bhatt has roles lined up in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War' and an untitled film within the YRF Spy Universe. Married to actor Ranbir Kapoor since 2022, the couple introduced their daughter, Raha Kapoor, to the world on Christmas last year.
