Kiran Rao's 'Laapataa Ladies', starring Sparsh Shrivastava, Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goel, and Ravi Kishan, is a rural India tale of two brides who switch places during a train journey in 2001. The film received praise at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released theatrically on March 1, 2024, followed by a Netflix release on April 26.
