The film, distributed by Twin, known for releasing Indian films in Japan, announced its release plans via Twitter with a trailer and poster highlighting its status as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. Advance ticket sales begin on July 5th, offering early buyers Shah Rukh Khan posters from the song 'Chaleya'. Ranked as the second highest-grossing Bollywood film overseas at USD 47.60 million, 'Jawan' trails behind 'Pathaan', which earned USD 47.85 million, mainly from its success in Japan with JPY 45 million. 'Jawan' aims to exceed 'Pathaan's Japanese earnings to enhance its overall international box office performance.
