Producer Ramesh Taurani confirms 'Soldier' sequel

Reflecting on Preity's debut, Taurani recalled that she was originally signed on for 'Kya Kehnaa' first, but she went on to be cast in 'Soldier' as well. The delay in the release of Kya Kehnaa was due to the scheduling conflict with the film 'Kareeb', starring Bobby in the lead. Looking back at their decision to change the release lineup, he added, "We didn't want two films of Bobby releasing in the same month," Taurani explained.
