'Bad Newz' sees good growth on Saturday

Anand Tiwari's Bad Newz starring Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri in the lead, saw numbers rise to an estimated Rs 10. 25 crore on Saturdday. The film has grossed Rs 22.3 crore in India and Rs 9 crore overseas, earning a total collection of Rs 31.3 crore worldwide. The film faced competition from the Hollywood release 'Twisters'. It has one week to rake in the big bucks before it faces off against the Marvel movie 'Deadpool and Wolverine' that release on July 26.
