​Tom Cruise’s dramatic entrance began with him leaping off the roof of the Stade de France. He soared through the air and landed smoothly on the stage. There, he was greeted by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, who handed him the Olympic flag as part of the ceremonial baton pass.
