'The Room Next Door' gets 17-Minute ovation

Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton wowed Venice with Pedro Almodóvar’s The Room Next Door, receiving a 17-minute standing ovation, the longest of the 2024 festival. Almodóvar, celebrating with fans, extended the applause by running down the stairs to sign autographs. The film, Almodóvar’s English-language debut, features dramatic twists and vibrant settings.
