'GOAT' box office collection day 1

'GOAT', a science fiction action drama directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Vijay, grossed Rs 43 crore in India on its first day. Despite high pre-sales of Rs 65 crore, the film's Hindi version underperformed. It has set a record as the highest opening grosser in Tamil Nadu this year, surpassing 'Raayan' and 'Indian 2'.
