Friday, 6 September 2024 Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, directed by Amar Kaushik, has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor's Animal to become the 5th highest-grossing Hindi film with Rs 503.25 crore. It also broke Baahubali 2's third-week collection record in Hindi. The film is part of Dinesh Vijan’s Horror-Comedy universe with future spin-offs planned.
