Fans defend Squid Game: 'If Hollywood stars suing them...'

IndiaTimes Saturday, 14 September 2024 ()
Indian filmmaker Soham Shah has filed a lawsuit against Netflix and 'Squid Game' creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, alleging that the series plagiarised his 2009 Bollywood film 'Luck'. Shah claims both works feature deadly games with increasing prize money. Fans defend 'Squid Game', stating its concept isn't unique. Netflix has denied the allegations and plans to contest them.
