Taylor fans duped of $300,000 in Eras Tour Toronto scam
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 Hundreds of Taylor Swift fans in Burlington, Ontario were scammed out of tickets to her 'Eras Tour'. A woman posing as a reseller on Facebook collected over $300,000 from fans promising 'corporate tickets'. Victims were promised tickets just days before the concert but received nothing. Halton Regional Police are investigating the scam and urging vigilance when purchasing tickets.
