Mamta: Becoming Mahamandaleshwar is like an Olympic medal

Mamta Kulkarni, the former Bollywood star, was anointed as the Mahamandaleshwar of the Kinnar Akhada during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Friday. In an interview, the 52-year-old expressed her gratitude for this spiritual milestone and reflected on her transformative journey over the last 23 years. "Becoming a Mahamandaleshwar of such Akhada is like an Olympic medal after 23 years of my spiritual practice," she said. She also revealed why she chose to be a part of the Akhada.
