Ajith Kumar's action thriller 'Vidaamuyarchi' directed by Magizh Thirumeni garnered Rs 22 crore on its opening day, with Tamil Nadu contributing Rs 21.5 crore. While the film showed strong occupancy in Tamil Nadu, it was lower in the Telugu and Hindi markets.
