Nushrratt opens up about being stuck in war-hit Israel

Nushrratt Bharuccha was in Israel for a film festival in 2023. War broke out, and she got stuck. She recalls the fear and helplessness she felt. Sirens and bomb blasts woke her. She sheltered in a basement with others. Nushrratt feared she would never see her family again. She is grateful to Narendra Modi and Indian authorities for the rescue.
