Mumbai Police apprehended Mayank Pandya for sending a death threat to Salman Khan via WhatsApp, motivated by a desire to inflate his Instagram following. Pandya, a 25-year-old from Vadodara, confessed to mimicking threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Authorities confirmed Pandya's history of mental illness, undergoing treatment since 2014 after witnessing his grandfather's death.
