Khalid Rahman, Ashraf Hamza held for hybrid ganja possession
Sunday, 27 April 2025 () Malayalam film directors Khalid Rahman and Ashraf Hamza, along with Shalif Mohammed, were arrested in Kochi for possessing hybrid ganja during a late-night Excise Department raid at a flat reportedly owned by cinematographer Sameer Thahir. The trio was later granted station bail. Meanwhile, Shine Tom Chacko received a final warning from the Kerala Film Body after actress Vincy Aloshious accused him of inappropriate behavior on set.
