Saturday, 26 August 2023 Embattled Spanish football chief Luis Rubiales has been provisionally suspended by FIFA for 90 days in the wake of the World Cup kissing row.
The president of the Spanish football federation Luis Rubiales has refused to step down from his position, after he kissed forward Jenni Hermoso on the lips after the team’s World Cup final victory.
Spain have won Euro 2024 after a last-gasp second half against England, who lose their second consecutive European final and fail to break a 58-year-long trophyless curse.
