Truss criticised for taking from fund for ex-PMs despite 49 days in office
Tuesday, 19 September 2023 Liz Truss has been claiming cash from the £115,000-a-year public fund awarded to former prime ministers to run their offices, despite serving for just 49 days.
Jeremy Hunt has admitted the Conservative Party are the "underdogs" in the upcoming general election and that winning it "is going to be very tough".
