ASLEF members overwhelmingly vote to continue strike action - train drivers' union
Friday, 1 December 2023 Members of ASLEF have voted overwhelmingly to continue strike action for the next six months in their ongoing dispute over pay, the train drivers' union has announced.

Mick Whelan, general secretary of Aslef, has said his members are βpleasedβ with a new pay deal that will see the end of more than two years of strike action. Aslef union members accepted an offer which included a 5% backdated pay rise for 2022-23, a 4.75% rise for 23-24, and a 4.5% increase for 24-25.
