Rishi Sunak has said the UK “will not hesitate” to protect British interests after the RAF carried out a fifth round of joint strikes against Houthi rebels with US forces. Former sub-postmaster Alan Bates said that "they just have to get on with it and get people paid", as he spoke out after giving evidence at the Post Office inquiry. Mr Bates was asked if he believes there will be any criminal prosecutions as a result of the scandal.
"I think we will see some. Whether it's undertaken by the authorities themselves, or whether we as a group have to bring some if the authorities fail us once again - we'll have to wait and see," he added.
