Government 'devising options' to speed up the overturning of Post Office Horizon convictions
Monday, 8 January 2024 The government is investigating ways to speed up the overturning of wrongful convictions of sub-postmasters affected by the Horizon scandal.
Former Justice Secretary Sir Robert Buckland has called for the government to enforce “new legislation to end the convictions” of hundreds of post office operators who were wrongly convicted of theft and fraud in the Post Office scandal.
