Ex-firearms officer who was 'told to strip to underwear' wins £820,000 payout
Wednesday, 10 January 2024 A former firearms officer has been awarded a reported £820,000 after winning a sex discrimination case against West Midlands Police.
A senior West Midlands Police officer says the murder of 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in a Wolverhampton park last year was both "shocking and saddening". Two boys, the youngest knife murderers in the UK, have both been handed life sentences with a minimum term of eight-and-a-half years.
