Tuesday, 27 February 2024 Post Office victims champion Alan Bates has called for the Post Office to be sold to the likes of Amazon for a pound as he described it as "a dead duck".
While giving evidence to the Business and Trade Committee, campaigner Alan Bates hit out at the Post Office, calling it a “money pit for the taxpayer” that will never change its culture.

Amazon Prime Day 2024 , Dates Announced.
This year, Amazon Prime Day will fall
on July 16 and 17, Engadget reports. .
It will begin at 3:01 a.m. ET on July 16.
Thousands of deals on electronics, household items, fashion and more will be available to members only. .

has helped the retail giant to gain
