Tuesday, 5 March 2024 The uncle of five-year-old Yusuf Nazir who died a week after he was sent home from a hospital emergency department has told Sky News the health secretary is to ask NHS England chief Amanda Pritchard to look at the case.
The Health Secretary has insisted he did not ask NHS boss Amanda Pritchard to leave her job. Wes Streeting said he has βso much respect and timeβ for Ms Pritchard, who announced on Tuesday that she will leave her role as NHS chief executive at the end of March.
