King stresses importance of friendship 'in a time of need' in Easter message
Wednesday, 27 March 2024 The King will stress the importance of extending "the hand of friendship… especially in a time of need" in his first public comments since the Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis.
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is now in remission after being diagnosed with cancer last year. Middleton shared her cancer diagnosis and that she had been undergoing chemotherapy in March 2024. After tentatively returning to a couple of royal engagements in the last few months, including the royal family's Christmas outing, Middleton said on Instagram Tuesday that she is now in remission.
