NHS targets not being met, says Labour

Labour's Louise Haigh has rejected the news that NHS targets are being met. It comes as the health secretary revealed waiting lists have fallen for the fifth month in a row. NHS waiting lists fall for fifth month in a row

Health Secretary Victoria Atkins revealed waiting lists for hospital treatment have fallen for the fifth month in a row as she insisted NHS targets are being met . "We have seen waiting lists fall for four months in a row that's despite industrial action by junior doctors and we are putting a series of practical measures in place to try to help take the pressure off A&E departments," she added.
