Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine As Light is first Indian film in 30 years in Cannes Film Festival's competition section
Thursday, 11 April 2024 Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine As Light will compete with 19 other highly anticipated titles, including Francis Ford Coppola' Megalopolis and Yorgos Lanthimos' Kinds of Kindness, in the competition section at the 77th Cannes Film Festival 2024.
The Cannes Festival Palace was built in 1977 to accommodate the growing success of the film festival, which started in 1946. The official selection for the 77th Cannes Film Festival will be released on Thursday. VIDEOGRAPHIC
The 77th Cannes Film Festival is currently in full swing with “Megalopolis” and “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” making their highly-anticipated premieres. Both have received mixed reviews so far.
