Thousands protest in Georgia against 'foreign agents' bill
Saturday, 11 May 2024 Tens of thousands of Georgians took to the streets of Tbilisi, kicking off a week of rolling protests against a Putinesque new law threatening press and civic freedoms.
Heavyweights Shine on Final Day of Tbilisi Grand Slam
The final day in Tbilisi saw thrilling battles from judo’s heavyweights. Bozorov, Lobnik, and Savytskiy claimed their first Grand Slam golds, while Dicko and Tasoev dominated their categories. Georgia’s Tushishvili fell short, but the home team secured multiple medals in a spectacular finale.
