Manchester's Co-op Live arena finally opens after weeks of cancellations and setbacks
Tuesday, 14 May 2024 Manchester's beleaguered Co-op Live arena has finally officially opened its doors after weeks of setbacks, cancellations and postponements.
The Prime Minister has vowed to upgrade struggling rail services between Manchester and Yorkshire as he announced £415 million in transport funding. It comes after delays to the electrification of the TransPennine route upgrade between Manchester and York following the dropping of the Phase 2 HS2 extension.
