Ex-Post Office boss admits removing reference to Horizon system from Royal Mail legal document
Friday, 24 May 2024 Former Post Office boss Paula Vennells has admitted to amending the legal document Royal Mail issued to would-be investors before it became publicly owned to remove mention of the flawed Horizon IT system.
Rishi Sunak has responded to claims that a growing number of voters have complained about failing to receive their ballot papers in the post. The prime minister said: "It's right that the Royal Mail have said they will look at any concerns where they are raised because obviously we want to make sure that everyone can vote because this is an important election."
