Paul Mescal transformed as he's seen fighting for his life in Gladiator II trailer
Tuesday, 9 July 2024 () Paul Mescal is transformed in his latest role as a Roman warrior fighting for his life, in Gladiator II, the follow-up to Ridley Scott's Oscar-winning film.
Paul Mescal hopes that the release of 'Gladiator II' and 'Wicked' on the same day in November can replicate last year's 'Barbenheimer' phenomenon that accompanied the cinematic launches of 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer'.
The first trailer for 'Gladiator II' is finally here! And it sees Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal go head-to-head in battle. The follow-up to Ridley Scott's 2000 epic 'Gladiator' is set several decades after the events of the first movie in ancient Rome.

Russell Crowe is sharing his thoughts on Ridley Scott's 'Gladiator' sequel, and it's not too positive. The actor, who is not part of the sequel film is saying he's slightly uncomfortable with it being made. During a recent interview with Kyle Meredith, the Oscar-winning actor said, "I'm slightly uncomfortable with the fact they're making another one — because, of course, I'm dead and I have no say in what gets done. But a couple of the things I've heard I'm like, 'No, no, no, that's not in the moral journey of that particular character.' But I can't say anything, it's not my place, I'm six foot under. So we'll see what that is like."
