Company that caused global techno meltdown gives out $10 vouchers to say sorry - and they don't work
Wednesday, 24 July 2024 The firm behind the global IT outage that cost companies billions, ground 5% of the world's air traffic and brought NHS systems to their knees has given out $10 food vouchers to say sorry.
The health secretary has vowed to end "two-tier healthcare" in the NHS in a speech delivered at the Labour conference. Wes Streeting said the NHS has let people down in recent years. "We are the generation that will build a national care service worthy of it's name. That's the change Britain voted for," he said.
