Local residents in Southport have been left shocked after a knife attack on Tuesday left three children dead. Local resident and mother Leanne Hassan said her daughter's nursery was put into lockdown following the incident. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has visited Southport following a knife attack which left three children dead and nine others critically injured. Speaking at the scene, Ms Cooper said: "It's beyond every parent's worst nightmare.
