Wednesday, 31 July 2024 A homeless man who pushed a Tube passenger onto the tracks at one of London's busiest underground stations has been found guilty of attempted murder.
Sir Sadiq Khan has launched a public consultation on his controversial plans to pedestrianise Oxford Street. The Mayor of London announced the proposal to pedestrianise a 0.7-mile stretch of the popular shopping district in September and has said the plans would “unlock the true potential” of the famous street which had “suffered in recent years”.
