Friday, 27 September 2024 St Mirren defender Shaun Rooney has been charged with assaulting a woman as well as a breach of the peace against a man in a Glasgow city centre takeaway.
Sir Keir Starmer receives a standing ovation as he states the “Scottish people stand with the people of Ukraine”. Speaking at the Scottish Labour conference in Glasgow the prime minister says: "Nobody wants the bloodshed to continue, least of all the Ukrainians”.
