Zelenskyy calls on allies to stop 'watching' and act on North Korean threat in Russia
Saturday, 2 November 2024 () Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the UK and other Ukrainian allies to stop "watching" and provide long-range weapons to strike North Korean troops in Russia before they enter combat.
The US has estimated a total of 10,000 North Korean troops are in Russia. Seoul and its allies said that the number has increased to 11,000, while Ukraine has put the figure higher, at up to 12,000.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared images of an attack on a crowded public area, insisting that similar attacks can be prevented with international support.
