Russian hypersonic missile warship conducts drills in English Channel
Tuesday, 12 November 2024 A Russian navy warship equipped with hypersonic cruise missiles has conducted drills in the English Channel, Russian news agencies have reported.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp has dismissed the government's proposed powers to address illegal immigration as "laughable", claiming they will have no impact. He emphasised the importance of a strong deterrent, such as the Conservatives' Rwanda plan, in preventing small boat crossings in the English Channel.
