Monday, 18 November 2024 Greater Manchester Police (GMP) says it has made wide-ranging changes to the treatment of women in custody, following a Sky News investigation.
A major railway line is closed after a car driven by a suspected drunk-driver crashed onto train tracks, causing disruption to train services between Manchester and Liverpool.
