GCHQ reveals Christmas puzzle - containing hidden clues for an extra challenge
Wednesday, 11 December 2024 () GCHQ has revealed its annual Christmas puzzle, which this year contains hidden clues for those who want an extra challenge.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has launched a scathing critique of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for rejecting a proposed Christmas ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. Labeling Zelenskyy’s decision as a path to a "blood-filled Christmas," Orban accused Ukraine of turning down a genuine effort for peace.
The controversy erupted after Orban revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that Hungary, during its EU presidency, proposed a ceasefire and a large-scale prisoner exchange, only to be met with outright rejection by Kyiv. Zelenskyy, in response, mocked Orban, accusing him of leveraging the peace initiative to bolster his personal image and dismissed the proposal as disingenuous.
