IRGC Chief Hossein Salami has emphasized that Iranian forces fought alongside Russian troops in Syria, condemning the actions of Israel, Turkey, and Western nations for supporting anti-Assad militants. Salami’s comments come amid ongoing conflict in Syria, with foreign-backed groups pushing against the Syrian government. He criticized these countries for exacerbating the situation by backing militants in the region, which he claims have contributed to instability. Salami also defended Iran's advisory role in Syria, highlighting the sacrifices made by IRGC forces who were the last to leave the country after their mission was completed.
