FM says call to strip ex-Scotland rugby captain of MBE 'understandable' after abuse conviction
Friday, 10 January 2025 Scotland's first minister has said a call to strip rugby player Stuart Hogg of his MBE in the wake of his domestic abuse conviction is "reasonable and understandable".
Former Scotland rugby union captain Stuart Hogg has been sentenced to a community payback order after he admitted abusing his estranged wife, Gillian Hogg, over the course of five years.
