Friday, 31 January 2025 The judges who oversaw family court proceedings involving Sara Sharif in the years before her death have been named following a Court of Appeal ruling.
Just Stop Oil campaigners protest outside the Court of Appeal at the Royal Courts of Justice, where sixteen climate activists are challenging their sentences. The protesters received prison sentences of between five years and 15 months in July and August last year for their roles in four demonstrations held by Just Stop Oil between August and November 2022, including climbing on gantries over the M25 and throwing soup over Vincent van Gogh's Sunflowers.
