Parents of Southport stabbings victims pay tribute to daughters - and describe moment they were told 'something awful has happened'
Saturday, 8 February 2025 () The parents of two of the girls murdered at a dance class in Southport have spoken of the moment they were told "something awful has happened" to their children.
The mother of seven-year-old Elsie Stancombe, who was one of three girls killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, have said she would “trade places” with her daughter "any day" as she paid tribute to her. Elsie's mother, Jenni Stancombe, said, "If we had been there this wouldn't have happened".
