'We have to stand up': Labour MP goes public to oppose family farms tax - and more could follow
Monday, 3 March 2025 () A newly elected Labour MP has gone public with his objections to the government's proposed farm tax, saying it would "penalise" small farms in rural communities.
The shadow environment secretary has blasted the Labour government for the "third" increase in energy bills since coming to power. Victoria Atkins also criticised the government's approach to energy, including "plonking pylons across the country".
