The Crown actor 'told to attend police interview' over pro-Palestinian protest
Tuesday, 4 March 2025 () The Crownactor Khalid Abdalla says he has been told to attend a police interview in relation to a pro-Palestinian protest in January.
"We made this film, Palestinians and Israelis, because together our voices are stronger," Israeli journalist and director Yuval Abraham says as he accepts, along with Palestinian reporter and director Basel Adra, the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature for their film "No Other Land" on the Israeli occupation of Palestine. "We call on the world to take serious actions to stop the injustice and to stop the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people," Adra urges. "It's not too late for life, for the living," Abraham adds before concluding his speech.
